Max Phillips of Signal Type Foundry and Design Enterprise Skillnet will host a crit workshop on September 10th 2019, from 7-9pm.

Bring your typeface and lettering designs in progress. We’ll help you develop and refine them. Works in all stages are welcome, from pencil sketches to laser proofs, as are all levels of experience. We’ll identify strong and weak points, help you clarify your thinking, assess and give tips for improving technical quality, and develop task lists for bringing your work to the next level. Please print designs out on A4 or A3 sheets when possible, but we’ll be happy to discuss whatever you’ve got: lettering, wordmarks, type designs, or experiments. Conducted by Max Phillips of Signal Type Foundry.

We know that you may be coming from work – refreshments will be served from 6:30pm.
