The aim of this bespoke workshop is to provide designers and creatives with a variety of tools and techniques to identify and overcome creative block.

Creative block can arise for any number of reasons.

The workshop will address the causes of creative blocks, for example, perfectionism, fear of failure, business and financial pressures – from deadlines to challenging clients.  When Creative blocks surface they can cause anxiety, affect work performance and well-being.

Walthea Patterson will provide insights and tools to handle and cope with the internal and external pressures that are often the root of the problem.

Internal Coping Tools – Ways to handle worry, fear and other unruly items (Cognitive Strategies)

External Coping Tools – Ways to handle the external environment (Behavioural Strategies)

Not everyone’s situation is the same.   Participants will be given the tools that best suit their personality and the demands of their environment.

Workshop dates (please pick one):

  • Evening workshop – 15th October, 7-8:30pm (refreshments from 6:30pm)
